The Whistle Podu Army was among the most dependable fanbases in IPL history. When we look back at the club’s success throughout the years, one of the critical reasons for their fantastic steadiness has been the team culture, faith in players, and less chop and changes.

MS Dhoni
After turning over the team’s reins to Ravindra Jadeja, Dhoni will focus on his form, which has been terrible over the previous two seasons. In IPL 2021, Jadeja scored 227 runs at an average of 75.66 and took 13 wickets at 7.06 runs per over.
Uthappa, Robin
In IPL 2021, the 2014 Orange Cap holder made crucial contributions when it counted most, striking a match-winning 63 over Delhi Capitals in Qualifier 1 and a 15-ball 31 against KKR in the final to help CSK win its fourth title. It was a much-needed improvement in Uthappa’s statistics, as he was coming off a disastrous 2020 season with the Rajasthan Royals, averaging only 16.33 runs in 12 games.
